🫓 What is Pide?
Turkey's wood-fired flatbread — boat-shaped, golden and crispy outside, soft inside. Think of it as Turkish pizza, but older and better. Comes Open (Açık), Closed (Kapalı), or Round (Yuvarlak). All served with fresh parsley and lemon.
🌯 What is Lahmacun?
Ultra-thin crispy flatbread topped with spiced minced meat. You roll it with fresh romaine lettuce, parsley and a squeeze of lemon. Light, fast, and dangerously addictive. Often called "Turkish pizza" — but locals will correct you.
🥩 What is Kavurma?
Slow-sautéed beef — a Black Sea (Karadeniz) specialty. Deeply savory and rich. It's the premium meat option across our menu.
🌶️ What is Sucuk?
Turkish dry-cured sausage, spiced with garlic and red pepper. Smoky, bold, and pairs perfectly with melted cheese on pide.
🥓 What is Pastırma?
Turkish cured beef with a distinctive fenugreek-spice crust. Intensely flavored — a little goes a long way. A true local delicacy.
🍮 What is Künefe?
Shredded wheat pastry filled with soft cheese, baked golden, then soaked in sweet syrup. Served hot. The cheese-pull is the highlight of any Istanbul trip.
